Yes sounds to me like vocoder with FX, maybe the notes played on the synth are delayed due to FX or Midi, can't be sure

she stacked dozens of vocoded vocal lines to create the harmony. anyway, check this.

EDIT: i also read somewhere that she didn't use vocoders, but this: http://www.tc-helicon.com/voicelive2.asp

nope, she doesnt stack them, she just plays chords through a vocoder... in this vid she also uses heavier delay:

It's a vocoder with some organ modulating the voice.

She wrote and recorded that song in less than a day because once its written its basically just one take of singing and playing the keyboard to record (as well as some overdubs here and there).
Out Now:
DD005 - Retrospect
MRS029 - Connected/Lovin' You
DAR010 - Santogold - Shove It (remix) 12"
SET003 - Bob Marley - Is This Love (remix) 12"
Echodub Loves Volume 2 - White Room
FTW Records Digital - Panic Room
FTW Free Compilation - Get Up (a.k.a Symphony)

Mega respect for her and ultra envy of the way she, like many talented musicians, can sing and know how to play keys/chords/scales??? To match. I imagine it's awesome to be able to translate what you hear in your head.

^ I'm saying I couldn't think up a song and then immediately play along to what I was hearing or singing.
