Re: What's Your Favorite Type Of Effects
using preposterously large amounts of reverb is always win in my book.
Re: What's Your Favorite Type Of Effects
reverb and delay of course. Filters though are what really make my sounds interesting I think. Amazing the different feel sounds have at different cutoffs.

Ya know I''ve been considering buying an akai sampler to rinse a few samples through for a while now, the older models are cheap out on ebay these days, i'm just afraid if I buy one that I might never use it, anybody else use these samplers and think its worth it?upstateface wrote: Recording things hot into the Akai sampler.

Re: What's Your Favorite Type Of Effects
Reverb (FL Reverb, each and every!)
Delay (FL Delay Bank, Analogue Delay, Dub Delay)
Filters (Usually within the synth itself, often stuck when it comes to samples though. Can anyone recommend any dedicated vst's? Not really feeling the Fruity one)
I only use these three. I consider EQ, Compression and Limiting to be tools for the mixdown/mastering stage, I rarely use them creatively.
