This is supposed to be a banging wet turd, but it might just be a turd. I'm not sure if I love it or hate it. The drums are fucking on point though.

Here's some from week17..

Wabble - Wabbler Dub (Original Mix) : Dub experiment, again, the wabs are a little crazy... could use a compliment wab in the gaps. Maybe a sick sample...
Soundcloud

Wabble - Wispy (New Mix) : this is my newest piece and I think its pretty abstract. I like how well it's structured and it just kinda flowed naturally on this one, I'm usually very poor with keeping predictable structure (advantages for the DJ). The vibe could be changed to make this a smoker tune... but I like where it's ended up so far.
Soundcloud

Here's some more ive been workin on from week16...

Wabble - LEO : I came up with this wab and it reminded me of a dog bark... I beefed it up to sound more like a lion roar. I finally mixed it to a decent point and am somewhat pleased with it. I still think it needs a little more zazz.
Soundcloud

Wabble - lil'Taste : the wabs are a bit erratic but I took my inspiration (and sample) from the film "Requiem for a Dream" in the scene where they take a lil'Taste of the pure..
Soundcloud

Wabble - Man in the Symphony : Playing this back I like it somedays and somedays not. Im indecisive whether to put more variation into the second drop...
Soundcloud

ANY FEEDBACK VERY MUCH APPRECIATED

Haha, I used to listen to them a lot a few years ago, haven't heard the new album! Buying it now 8)
Most influenced by ZUN though, but the melody changed slightly and doesn't really resemble anything by him now

@YDOL: Nice man, always dig the 8 bit synths

@jaspervc: That's going to be a decent track, the hats at the start make the rythm nice and smooth and the claps instead of snares is a good bet, nice drop too, reminds me of a Bar 9 track. Got that same growling bass.

@jaspercv
thats nice and heavy already, am diggin those drums.
the main growl sounds a little too distorted...either that or
my lappys having a fit. but good stuff.

@jaydot
that siren seems a little out of time to start with,
and then so does the main wobble at some points.
just work on making everything a little smoother, and nicely flowing
then youll have a heavy track.

worked on mine a little, comments appreciated

@layzee: epic track, first drop was so intense GJ ! Work on the mixing after the drop so every sound comes out clean and arrange full length

@Mortal: not too much going on right now, i like what you have now but you gotta add atleast a pad or something.. just stuff up your track some more

Made a v2 of my latest track, would love some feedback !

Did you do the sound design for the drums or are they just new samples you got??

@ Layzie18 - If you do some work on the mixing it will be a solid tune. I really like the intro, sounds gangsta. but when all the elements come in on the drop, that's where there's to much going on frequency wise. Space it out and it will sound sick!

@ jaydot - Not trying to be harsh, but that gangster sample has been sooooo over done, so it's hard for me to get into the tune. The mixing levels on your bassline/midrange sound way to loud.

@ mortal - really like your minimalist track, but the beat is lacking depth. i think if you add more fills it would help with the flow tremendously.

I'm still fairly new to this forum, but have been lurking for a few months, and thought I would post a tune that I am heavily trying to finish. Like most people I have a hard time finishing my tunes, so take a listen and tell me what you think.

This is new atmospheric choon i've been workin on. It's a remix of a dnb tune I did over 5 years ago, thought i'd give it a lil dubstep flavor. Still trying to wrap my head around production in a professional manner (never stop learning), and would love any feedback I can get to make this sound absolutely proper.

check it out!

@ jaspervc - Sounds good, lots of potential. The bass sounds like they are off a quality sample CD. Please tell me you created those bass sounds, cause they sound amazing. If so, keep doing what you are doing. If not, well.....
