I believe what is being vocalized through the medium of a hilarious face-palm picture is that you should probably use the search bar in the top right hand corner of the screen instead of asking a question that has been asked many times on this forum.
Just in case you're wondering why you've earned an almighty face-palm so soon into posting here.
To answer your question.
I use Reason 4. Mostly I work with the malstrom for pads, thor for bass sounds and the substractor synth for my sub or for pad, string-ish and brass-ish parts. Sometimes I'll build a pad (using samples) in fruity loops as it suits my work flow better than building one in reason. And sometimes I'll write a piano part in fruity loops using fruity keys on one of the Rhodes settings with a little tweaking.

Re: What software do you use?
Any DAW is good: Reason, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase etc....
I happen to be PC/Ableton. VSTs pretty standard: Massive, Fm8, Edirol Orchestral, Absynth.
Jump on some tutorials - there is heaps about
Z.
