Deamonds - Material Mix Feb 07

Post by deamonds » Sun Feb 11, 2007 8:32 pm

Hi All,

I'd really love it if just only a handfull of people gave me some feedback, as when i put tunes up i dont seem to get any response whatsoever!! (maybe because my tune are shit i dont know lol)

I've done a mix (on ots 1200 on my pc, no cueing, so its on the fly mixing, but still tight, thats not important the tunes are!!) of all the stuff i have made so far, heres the tracklisting

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1T423KH0

1 - "Its Like Smoking LSD" - Deamonds
2 - "Respect to the smokers" - Deamonds
3 - "Wheezing" - Deamonds (terribly distorted, levels need adjusting)
4 - "Dem Die Anova Night" (LSD Revisited) - Deamonds
5 - "Fresh-ness" - Deamonds

All of these tracks are unmastered, some are unfinished, some arent even 320's lol, but thats just for pirate purposes, please please PLEASE, let me know what you think, as your feedback is essential to me!!

Thanks All!!!!!

Actually I listened to all your tunes earlier and I just couldn't really come up with anything constructive. I wouldn't say the tunes jumped out at me but as someone who couldn't program a beat if my life depended on it I find it hard to be objective.

What I would say is that all of the tunes were engaging enough for me to listen all the way through to the end (smoked rollers twice) and I think that all though none of them are showstoppers (imho) there is enough quality in some of your beats, ideas and samples that if you keep on you're gonna produce a belter. I was really feeling the beats in smoked roller especially on the change but it just needed to be a little tighter. Or something.

I did warn you my feedback would be useless but you did ask!!
