Just seems ridiculously overpriced for what it is which seems to be just a glorified touch screen.

for £3500 i would rather buy

2x 1210 mk5s
1x djm800
1x serato sl3
1x mac laptop (ok it would only be mac book not mac book pro)

see how well u could spend £3500!!!

it would be waste to buy 2 ipads to mix on anyway coz u can only use 1 at a time for everything else apart from i dj app or whatever its called!!
Er dollars are different to pounds.

Maybe using the Ipad as a midi controller or to run your effects through.

I love vinyl but $400 won't get you much!

A good collection of 250 pieces is gonna set you back at least $2000.

i couldnt watch it all, but some highlights for me were at the start when she talks about the cross fader being some kind of wonder device...meaning you can switch between 2 sound inputs or play them both at the same time... something she has been doing alot lately.

also the cue function being kind of like a preview... wow... dj 101.

if she had come out of a coma that she had been in for 4 centuries then i could understand her amazement and also understand how she might think everyone is as clueless as herself.

She doesnt even have good intentions.
I cant find the link any more, but its her profile on some job site that says she is something along the lines of a guerilla or some crap like that. She got this gig off of some "new-wave" PR firm hired by apple.

Total Fakery

ELLFIVEDEE wrote:She says something about this being the cheapest way to experiment with DJing?

Whatever happened to buying some gypo turntables and borrowing some records? :?
I'd say that even getting ableton live through questionable means would be better than using fucking iPads, not to mention far cheaper.

I first saw this video back when it had like 10,000 views :u: RAGE :u: RAGE HOW DO THESE GD VIDEOS GET SO MANY GD VIEWS :u: RAGE

Begin listing fails:
  • 1- She makes a video to show the world her brand new ipad dj setup and she runs the sound through what, sorry? Her LAPTOP SPEAKERS??
2- Everything about her mannerisms and the way she talks bugs the motherloving crap out of me
3- It takes her so many words words words words words words words to get her point across
4- That guy in the background. Just seems like a big loser to me. Probably her boyfriend, knowing this world we live in
    5- The cameraman's laugh at 5:48
6- Her ludicrously laughable comment about knowing 124.4bpm by ear
7- She's way more famous at this moment that I probably will ever be
Emo vocals cut themselves

She's moist that's for sure...

but after the first few seconds, everything went downhill. I can imagine a number of people having seeing this video and wanting to go buy 2 ipads to dj, can't believe she suggested it as the best way to start djing! fuck off bitch :u:
