this is an important topic for the hungry work creux.
i love the Pret, but i don;t love their prices so i usually end up with a Tesco ham, cheese and pickle and a greggs jumbo pastie. Pretty filling for
2 paand 65....
What's your selection?

check sainsbreezy's
ham and mustard [on malt bread]
only £1.10 and you get much more ham than in the taste the diffo ones. plus ample mayo and mustard unlike most sandwhiches.
leaving you 1.40 for crisps and drink and an apple if your starved

Dont fuck with micro meals. They taste of nothing except hot mush, are unsatisfying and leave you feeling robbed of your money.
Just try a rustlers burger and see what I mean.
If i'm on a well tight budget, heinz ravioli on toast always hits the spot.

there's not many of them around, but a sammidge shop called bene bene does biiig stodgers for litttttle moneys.
i work in soho so i have a LOT of choice for lunch. but usually go tescos... the other runners go for the basics range on microwave meals but it's seriously worth spending an extra quid on tescos finest... it doesn't leave you with a stomach ache for the rest of the day. there's some DISGUSTINGLY expensive sandwich shops round here. like £4+

i dunno bout tesco finest stuff, it doesnt always prove that much better than teh standard shite.
for example, tesco finest sausage rolls are miles better than the standard ones BUT finest lasagne really doesnt taste any different to the standard (not value) stuff. It looks better, tastes nigh on identical.
same with the finest ploughmans vs standard one. YOu get nifty cardboard packaging but no more taste imo.
It's a minefield out there.........

Was a place in Headingley Leeds called Challenge sandwiches, love to know if its still there, owned by some jokes geez. £2.50 for a footlong subway rip off (chicken scallop being personal favorite) and he would always throw in something random for free "Free for you my friend". Stayed open till 5 in the morning as well. Sigh, happy days.

Morrisons choose your own salad is always a good lunch, I fill it up with pasta then cram a ton of other stuff in until the lid is almost popping open. Thirfty and tasty.

I've got to large up Marks & Spencer Mexican 3 Bean wraps. That's
some classy wrapage for £2.00. If I wasn't veggie I would also be a big fan of the Hoi Sin Duck variety.
