"Government vets were called to the site late on Thursday after hundreds of birds showed signs of illness that included going off their food and general malaise, symptoms associated with bird flu."

It's not bird flu - the turkeys are skagged off their tits. Unscrupulous mafia types have been using the poultry to smuggle in huge amounts of opium up their egg hatch and some parcels have been busting in transit from Hungary. The worst thing to do was incinerate them, which has now involved the whole of Suffolk "chasing the dragon" en masse (put that in speech marks as I am fully aware that some parts of rural Suffolk still believe in dragons although the hunts have dissipated a bit lately).

It's a dreadful state of affairs really, but fuck it they're only turkeys. Wouldn't have em round for Christmas unless I was likely to eat one. Ever tried playing cards with one - rubbish. They're bad debtors too, don't give em money, they generally just eat it or shit on it.

Turkeys used to have it pretty easy until Bernard decided they could be eaten all year round - if there's a turkey version of Al-Quaeda, I bet he's their Great Satan.
Hmm....
