Guido aka Guy Middleton first stepped out into the world of production with 'Orchestral Lab' (Punch Drunk Records) back in February 2009. The track encompassed the new wave of that Bristolian dubstep/bass scene championed by close allies Joker and Gemmy. The track itself was a cinematic, bass led piece that cemented Guido into the already flourishing scene. His production style could be viewed as more traditionally musical, focusing as much on melody and strings, as syncopation and rhythm.

Mensah introduced himself to the scene his debut release: ‘Sahara / Not A Shy Gyal‘, on Lo Dubs in 2009. Another son of Bristol with nuff talent, he has already signed to Jakes's label 'Hench', and is rumoured to be releasing material on Tempa. 2010 is set to a big year for Mensah and after smashing it at basslaced we've invited him back for another go.

Goli & Ashburner, have been smashing apart just about everywhere in the East Midlands and beyond recently with their bass heavy take on dubstep. Running their own label 'For The Win', putting on big label events with big guests, and still finding time to DJ and produce, these two are pushing Nottingham forward in the dubstep scene and we're happy to have them playing for us.
