DISTAL (EMBASSY RECORDINGS - ATL)
Atlanta based producer, and part-owner of EMBASSY RECORDINGS Distal’ has found himself rapidly building an internationally familiar brand in 2010. Combining time travel with dance music Distal breaks down the more ambiguous sounds from the past and fuses them with thoughts and equations of the future. Bridging the gap between techno, breakbeat hardcore, house, funk, gangster rap, and even pop culture, is a tricky formula to entertain. This enthusiasm has already gained the attention of many well-respected shamans and pioneers working in Dubstep and Techno today. Most recently his first two releases under EMBASSY RECORDINGS have graced the track listings of Appleblim, 2562, Joe Nice, Moldy, Ramadanman, BenUFO, Julio Bashmore, Breakage, Distance, Kastle and Moldy; the success and work landed him a dj spot at DubWar NYC this past April. The list of recognition is set to grow in March 2010 with forthcoming vinyl releases on soul jazz and tube10 recordings.

DJUNYA (SUREFIRE – SF)
Djunya will be playing an assortment of bass music from his musical influences as well as tracks from his forthcoming debut album. A Multi-genre set spanning from down beat,hiphop,dubstep,& DnB. The common thread is "musical bass".
PSYCH TYSON (FIXUP - SF)
San Francisco dj/producer Peter Gorman (aka PSYCH TYSON, aka DJSPACER, aka PREEP) has more than a decade of history in SF bass music, from DNB, 2step and breaks, to Dubstep, bassline and UK funky. As DJ SPACER, he played dnb, hiphop, 2step and breaks, and was responsible for the iconic series of proto-dubstep underground parties called DUBFARM. As PREEP, he was 1/3 of the luminary dubstep dj/production trio called BLACKHEART, whose releases can be found on BRAP DEM, FULLMELT, FILTHY DIGITAL, BASSISM and MALLABEL. His current incarnation, PSYCH TYSON, finds him producing and playing bassline and uk funky, which he showcases at San Francisco's premier bassline and dubstep party FIXUP (co-run by him and his girlfriend, photographer Kelly Koehler).
