Some Info on the Lineup:

Brackles

“Rob Kemp is a superlative DJ and producer who goes under the moniker Brackles, has a name that’s been spoken by more or less everyone with some kind of passing interest in dubstep over the last 2 or 3 months. Whether it’s been to pass comment on his mixes for FACT, Mary Anne Hobbs or Sinden or his jaw dropping DJing technique and highly stylized synthesized production, the general consensus has been positive to say the least.” Check the rest of the interview at Sonic Router below:

Fact Magazine said:
“Inspired by all the good stuff – Slimzee, Horsepower, Dilla, El-B, MJ Cole – Brackles is probably our favourite DJ around right now, and basically blew our minds last time he played FWD>>. With a sound a million miles away from the blokey, sludgy going rate of dubstep, this kid effortlessly incorporates funky, rolling grime, vintage 2-step and bassline into his impossibly energetic, elastic sets…” – Check out his mix for them here:

Brackles is a Bustle favourite, mixing all the best bits from: UK Garage, UK Funky, house and Dubstep into one smoothed out bass heavy sound. His remix C.V. includes Tempa T’s ‘Next Hype’ and John Legend, not to mention his HUGE remix of Crystal Castles - ‘I Love London’ found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUb7xTLGEKk

His Rinse FM shows move between Funky, Dubstep and UK Garage sounds with ease and he is a sick sick DJ. Check out his Old Skool UK Garage mixes below for more evidence:

Rossi B & Luca

“This is no hype. Rossi B and Luca have the streets and more locked.

In 2003 Rossi B and Luca were crowned ‘Best newcomer DJ’ at the prestigious Sidewinder People’s Choice Awards, followed by 3rd in the following year’s ‘Best DJ’ poll, pushing UKG legends EZ and Fonti (Heartless Crew) all the way.

Since then they have gone on to worldwide acclaim, not only for their superb DJ skills, but also for their pioneering productions.”

Rossi B & Luca are long time veterans of UK Garage and everything bassy, their sets have always evolved with the times, so expect everything from funky, UK G, grime, dubstep, bassline and more mashed up in a mad hype selection, with cutting, scratching and mixing only bettered by a couple of DJ’s.

They are as at home smashing up a dubstep dance as Sidewinder or Garage Nation, or travelling the globe to play in far-flung places. Their production ranges from UK G, Dubstep, Funky and Grime, gaining support from many DJ’s in these respective scenes. They also run label ‘Heavy Artillery’ which has a big back catalogue of heavyweight releases.

If you don’t know about their sets check out their brand new mix below and get to know:

“This year the UK music scene as a whole is thriving and this mix showcases the diversity of sounds that you can expect to hear us reppin' in the clubs as well as future mixes.” Rossi B & Luca.

The Heatwave

"London's premier purveyors of dancehall" Metro
“Founded by Gabriel Myddelton in 2003, The Heatwave started life as a monthly club night before morphing into a multi-armed musical machine.

Playing every week around the UK, Europe and beyond, The Heatwave's hype DJ sets are guaranteed to get any crowd of people down and dirty. Host MC Rubi Dan calls it the bashment workout, but it's much more fun than hitting the gym!”

The Heatwave are the only Dancehall and Reggae selectors on the world’s number one pirate radio station Rinse FM. You can catch them weekly at http://www.Rinse.FM

Recently they have been at the forefront of the Funky Bashment sound. Mixing up UK Funky Riddim tracks with Dancehall vocals and vice versa, causing havoc in clubs. Bristol people If you have been on the terrace at Motion for Sh*t The Bed you will know the deal! Hype bashment vibes!

Eddie K

Eddie K has been djing and producing music since he was 16 years old, citing old rave tapes as his inspiration. Since 2006, he has been working closely with the D-Style record label and it’s bosses "Distorted Minds". Through their nurturing, Eddie has been allowed to develop a dancefloor style of production that led to his double-sided releases on Stereotype; ‘Stinkbox/My Sound‘ and ‘Planet Terror/Unscrew’. He is not just limited to drum and bass, Eddie has has had a double sided release on H.E.N.C.H with the massive, ‘Who’s the hardest" backed with ‘The Shivers‘. Prime Cuts ft Dynamite MC (Eddie K remix) is out on D-Style now.
His DJ style is firmly concentrated on the dancefloor with fast technical mixing that reflects his early passion for DJing and not simply production.
