Steve Goodman, as boss of pioneering dubstep label Hyperdub, has been firmly in the driving seat of underground dance music for a few years now, releasing material from Burial, The Bug, Zomby, Darkstar, Ikonika, Joker, Cooly G, Scratcha DVA, Kyle Hall and more. His DJ sets are legendary - rare extended sets at London's seminal FWD>> club trigger mayhem in the capital, with queues stretching around the block.
So we're absolutely over the moon to announce that Kode 9 will be coming to Crazylegs in June to play a very special 3 hour DJ set in support of the release of his upcoming DJ Kicks mix CD this summer. Expect a whole slew of unheard and unreleased dubplates from some of the most exciting artists in the world - Goodman has access to material *nobody* else does, including Burial's much-talked-about early demos. We cannot wait for this party.
