pre-ordered on concerns of this hype getting even more out of hand with mala's latest announcement. won't be able to hit a record store that will have this the day it drops, and can't miss.

big up dmz.

yeah, nothing wrong with preordering from a reliable mailorder. anyway, a friend of mine who owns a record store has received this from German distributor NTT concerning the release:
Please confirm your orders ASAP as this format will be manufactured to order and will not be repressed.
It's also on their site, so I guess they got this information from somebody in charge.

im confused as to whether to preorder one now

surely they're gonna press more than just enough to cover the preorders

i think what's going on is that they're using the pre orders to gauge wat the demand for the tune is and making the press size accordingly.
This means it should satisfy the demand there is for the lp now, but at the rate dubstep is growing that won't be the case in 6 months...

dmz vinyl doesn't see a whole lot of repressing. traditionally its one or two runs at the most, and they could be a year or more apart. if you want the vinyl, i'd put in an order now. every single dmz release has sold out, so ....

Mala's last post made it sound like it was being pressed to order so pre-orders might be the way forward. Better be safe than sorry. I'm keeping my eyes peeled on Chemical & BM Soho aswell just in case my pre-order at Redeye falls through.

Pretty sure 14 is still available in a lot of places online.

I like the idea of pre-orders gauging how many presses there will be; everyone deserves a copy of this if they want it.

I guess I might as well pre-ordering, but I don't have enough to pre-order two (one from redeye and one from somewhere else just in case redeye pre-order doesn't work out.)

I feel like redeye is overshooting it with the pre-orders.

i preordered in rubadub a couple of weeks ago when i was in buy shit but i'm tempted to preorder at an online store too just to cover all bases. i would really kick myself if i didn't manage to get this. it seems like everyone and their gran is going in for 2 copies (or more)!

Just looked and Redeye aren't taking any more pre-orders (which would fit in with Mala saying that pre-orders would finish on Tuesday) so fingers crossed. I thought Redeye might be pushing it too but I'm remaining defiantly faithful! haha

Definitely think this will be a quick-draw purchase. Fingers on the buttons.
