Bombaman aka Matt Carl aka one half of the dubstep duo Loetech with XI from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
As Kid Kameleon put it in his column "Basic Needs" in the December 2007 issue of XLR8R, he makes dark, weird, boundary pushing music for you to meditate to in a club with large speakers.
These days he is working on making sure his beats live up to that expectation. Always looking for a new way to mangle subbass, you can find him pushing out new music every week in the form of 4/4, electro tinged dubstep.
With forthcoming releases on LA Dubstep Nostra, Lo Dubs and Badman Press, and releases already available on Lo Dubs, Aufect Recordings and Dubplatelet you can be sure there is a Bombaman sound suited to you.
Working with XI for the past two years producing music and performing on their radio show STREAMIZM!, he has traveled up and down Ontario and Quebec and will be venturing all across North America in search of the perfect sound system to play his music on.
You can hear Crookers, Rusko, Diplo, 12th Planet, DZ, Starkey, Stenchman, the Trouble & Bass crew and many other topshelf DJ's playing his music these days, so keep an ear to ground, he might be in your city next.

Vlad Gutierrez is no stranger to the US Northwest broken beats community. He has been spinning records since 98 and has had the opportunity to play on many international dancefloors. Relocated to Portland, OR in 2003 after being part of the "Essential Drum & Bass" crew in Barcelona,Spain. He then started "Madkraft" in 2004, a drum n' bass project alongside Invid and Mecca. In 2007 he began a transition towards Dubstep and since then this genre has become his passion. His first Dubstep release came out in 2007 on Aleutian Audio and stayed in Digital Tunes' top 10 for a couple weeks. Currently, he is busy producing beats for labels such as Hollow Point, Terminal Dusk, Requiem Audio, Simplify and Rogue Dubs

*While Phrenik has made his mark on the Southern California electronic music scene through Drum and Bass, the veteran DJ and Producer's scope reaches far wider. His well-received and much-downloaded System Check Mix Series has showcased Electro, Trance, and Drum and Bass, while the latest installment, System Check 5, journeys through Dubstep. High energy performances and versatile productions have cemented Phrenik's position as a major contender in electronic music.
Phrenik's popularity grew through his long-running show on DrumnBassTV.com, "The Resistance", which he hosted for 5 years. You can now catch him on his label’s weekly show: Peer Pressure TV which is featured on*UStream.com, where he continues to build his international fanbase. In 2009, Phrenik's reputation as a gifted producer was solidified with his dubstep remix of Rhianna's "Disturbia" and an exclusive trance remix for the UK duo, Octane & DLR, with a 2010 release on PPR.
As an integral member of Peer Pressure Recordings, Phrenik and label mate Soulidify strive to present some of the most original and innovative drum ‘n’ bass the world has to offer - while its sister label, Sub Pressure, features Dubstep. He also heads up the newest branch of the PPR family, Club Pressure Recordings, which will showcase house and trance.
Summer 2010 brings Phrenik a busy performance schedule, forthcoming releases on Sub Pressure, and the release of System Check 6. .
