Yo guys, this is a new track im about to finish, having real trouble getting the wobble to sit in the mix. Any advice on how to get this sorted, or just general tips for me? cheers.

it sounds like your wobble synth is detuned a bit too far one way or the notes you're playing on it are out of key with your pad

a couple of things:

your drum levels (hats specifically) need some more tweaking

I love both parts, but the drop is a bit sudden

definitely hit me up with a PM with the finished track though!

its really quite in you're face. it sounds in the right key, but everything else is quite chilled and reverby, it doesnt quite work as its so at the front in the mix. i dont listen to much wobble, so this might be right. just my thoughts.

maybe just too loud. have a look at the effects you've put on eveything else, and compare it to the effects on the wobble.

Great work for the music in general, but what I would point out is that, in my opinion, the instruments in the beginning of the track sounds a bit too much like they were midi. It's hard for me to explain since english is not my first language but yeah it has "too much midi feel". I think it's coming from an oboe sound or something but yeah we feel that you wanted to make that part orchestral if I'm not mistaking. Also your snare sounds a bit too dry for me, I would definitely add some reverb on it to give it that impression that the track breaths.

Cheers !

Thanks for the feedback. I did some adjustments. It's not finished as I realise there still a lot of work to be done on the eq'ing.

What do you think?

I need a break from listening to this! Generally happy with it as a start, bar one thing. I swear there sounds like theres some really mild chord clashing between the choral bit and the bass notes? I just cant seem to hear it anymore though, feels like my ears have given up lol

Any thoughts would be massively appreciated!

I new I been listening to that new album to much. :u:

to be honest I just like that electroish style sound since I produced electro for so long, but switching up to that Breakbeat really just makes it sound like a Rusko rip lol

arrrg you make something you like and it sounds like a bite
