Still new to the Dubstep style, but think I'm starting to grasp it.

Haven't got a decent monitoring system atm, but through my headphones its sounding serious!

Actual track idea is BIG, bassline's BIG, intro, BIG, love the work man,

Sounding muddy and distorted through my monitors though ! Mixdown work needed I think.. It needs a lot more mids and a bit more highs, and a bit less bass. Mix everything down quiet then use a limiter to bring it all up. If you could do that it would be perfect, and I'd be playing it out all the time!

Hahaha not what I'm sayin at all man! Just less bass in proportion to everythin else!

Ah man you should get yourself some monitors - made my mixes go from sounding poor to standin up against pro mastered stuff .

If you want you can send me over the stems and I'll mix it down here? Got some nice monitors and I think I know what I'm doing! .

No worries bro! Be happy to .

Erm nah I'm on Reaper, so if you send over basically all the seperate parts, seperate hats on a track to themselves, a kick track, a snare track etc without any FX on them like compression or eq or whatever, but obviously keep the creative FX like reverb and delay , and then I'll do a mixdown for ya!

So yeah, best thing to do is solo one element at a time (i.e. solo the kick), and then render a full wav as if you were rendering down the song as normal. Then when you've got it all, zip it all up and send it over!

Be sure to take off any master FX too like that naughty fruity limiter! haha. Bigups!

I use parametric EQ on a few channels (not the master), you want me to take all that stuff off? Just leave any reverb delay chorus etc?

Leave all the delay chorus reverb etc, yeah leave the eq on as well

Exactly what I think man, hopefully I can make it sound as large as it deserves, track will go off!

We've all sampled before , I wouldn't look to get it signed without sending it to Lily Allen's label for permission, it's a large track so you might get persmission to release it as an official remix! Otherwise just send it around for free as a dubplate .

And wicked man, lookin forward to it, AIM in my sig speak to ya when you when you get back!
