Re: deep medi info needed
reason being i think i might buy it but if i do il want to get the proper one straight off rather than buy one in a black sleeve then spend again when i see on in the colour skeeve (if it has one)
Re: deep medi info needed
i got mine in a black sleeve..hope i could help you :D
Re: deep medi info needed
I think first press was white but they have different variations of artwork..full artwork has the original colour + a nice big DEEP MEDi on the front - looks great

..you will know your responsibility..
Re: deep medi info needed

on the deep medi website it's blue:

The Quest - Unknown one is the only Deep Medi release I know with the DM logo on the sleeve.ras-claat wrote:the only time i saw DEEP MEDI upfront was on quest - unknown and i always purchased early... dunno
Anyway, I've bought deep medi's in black sleeves and coloured sleeves, both from first presses and represses. My guess is that repress = black sleeve, original press = limited run of coloured sleeves, and then just black sleeves.
Re: deep medi info needed
I absolutely love the deep medi site btw!
Re: deep medi info needed
yeah, the first two releases came in black sleeves as I remember... have never seen them in coloured sleeves.
but if you need coloured sleeves, you could just go for a package of these: http://www.tramikisupplies.co.uk/10-x-1 ... -104-p.asp

Re: deep medi info needed
99% sure mine is in black sleeve and i either got it as a full artwork promo or first press
Re: deep medi info needed
giving the right answer to this would require me to be focused enough when DJing to put the records back in the right sleeves. unlabeled dubplates & white labels is one thing, but otherwise... a sleeve is a sleeve.

what's wrong with someone who collects vinyl, that doesn't dj?
Re: deep medi info needed
i came back to this thread to question this statement as well...and even when i did dj regularly i was always very conscious about putting records back in the correct sleeves. just because you're organized doesn't mean you're not a good djprisoner wrote:THE HORROR!Sharmaji wrote:

I get a kind of morbid pleasure from finding all the right sleeves for my tunes and cleaning all the beer and fingerprints off them the day after playing out. No pleasure in finding new scratches though

Exactly. All my sleeves, even whitelabel sleeves are labeled so I always put the right record in the right sleeve. Doesn't feel right if it's in the wrong sleeve.south3rn wrote:just because you're organized doesn't mean you're not a good dj
Maybe it's my autistic side.
I still have some original presses in regular black sleeves though, eg medi017 and medi011tunnidge wrote:Hi,

^^^^looks like somebody nicked your sleeves then. medi 11 came in purple (as did 12), 17 in brown (darker than 27). my copy of cut end actually came in a red sleeve without center holes, other than that all coloured ones except 3 and 4 which are most likely represses
