Watched this last nite...Good. But was expecting it to be ALOT darrker..(there was some dark scenes still tho but didnt have the brooding sense of suspense or paranoia u wld expect)

its not so much a remake, i think the producer has the rights to the original so they named it that to raise the profile. I'm a fan of the original but i did like this, its much lighter and setting it in new orleans works. It all rests on if you like cage's performance...

I wasn't that blown away by the film really, Gary Oldman was good though.
