For fucks sake! Can't see Fabric closing for good though. Surely someone would come in and buy the place like what happened with The Den.

the den wasn't meant to reopen if i remember rightly
developers bought it and then the economic recession hit so they decided to wait until the housing market started being profitable again and letting the club run as a club...

not sure on that though

even more reason to get down to fabric on the 11th june if it may be one of the last times it's open

Congratulations on making a whole article based on 1 tweet which was later partially retracted.

This is journalism in 2010.

fingers crossed it's only hype...
I hate myself for scrutinising this article but this is really getting on my tits.

From the 'article':
*Buzzin’ Fly* main man Ben Watt made some tweets about the Fabric drama earlier today, only to be asked by the club’s management to remove the comments. Now we’re really worried. Read Watt’s new message below.
“i have been asked to remove my comments here, and on twitter [sic], earlier today about fabric’s alleged fall into administration. i have no wish to upset anyone. the truth will emerge in due course. in the meantime i can only sympathise with those at the sharp end of this story. best, ben. [sic]”
I'm sorry how did the writer of this article come to the conclusion that the club's management requested that he remove any content from his Twitter?

Is this really journalism that people take seriously?

As much as I dislike the actual club, the whole brand and label have done wonders for music, and I'd hate to see that all end :(

thats exactly what happened. shame it relaunched and its nowhere near as successful. been there for a few of those 'some nights' on wednesdays and they were shit, different vibe, full of students on the mephedrone. real shame because the end was one of the sickest clubs in london
