a teacher would be foolish to agree with a liberal position on drugs, could get them the sack.

but yeah it is damn unfortunate that 'drugs are bad mkay' is, as far as i can tell, always going to seem like a worthy reason not to decriminalize. you only have to look as far as holland or portugal to tell that it's a pretty good idea.
even if just smack was made available for free/cheap to all smackheads, hypothetically, provided they could prove they were already addicted to it, i'm pretty sure it would obliterate petty crime and take a decent chunk out of organized crime. but people just can't get their heads around it.
