i would normally say layer all your drums, but with the articulation you got goin on the minimal kick and snares work well.
the hat could use some layering and dynamics, and be brought down a good amount (it's still pretty damn noticable on LOW volume in most cases)
I do like the chord progression and lead, but change up your sounds or patches from SectionA to SectionB if you get what i'm saying. gets a wee bit stale for me.
keep working. this has potential, dude.

This is pretty great. Maybe switch up the drums a bit, or add a secondary reverbed snare?

This is quite a tune. I love that it is atmospheric, yet still hard hitting. The sounds mesh great, a little more variation on the drums, like a break or something, would be nice to hear. Overall, sounding sweet.

@ resettheatari - Loving that trance bit, intro is epic, reminds me of early trance that i got into when i first started DJ'ing. Dont think the wobble works well on the drop, would work much better if you switched the same pattern to a standard bassline and added some effects. Just my opinion of course! Keep up the goodness!

@ clemsonheadies - Nice tune, vocals sound like they could use a little more reverb and delay. Track is sounding sick apart from that. Props!

@ streetxlite - Love the switch ups in the tune, something i need to learn! Datsik style!

@ jsaxton - Usual grimey stuff from yourself mate! Love them revers snares, vocals sit nicely and the switch ups are sick. Top stuff!

@ modepth - Cant stop listening to your tune, reminds me of old Todd Edwards!

@ Tripwire - Lovely deep tune, vocals sit real nice and flows really good. Proper relaxing tune!

Will give feedback to anyone ive missed so far, hard keeping up in this thread lol

@ clemsonheadies - loved this track. Massive sound, something i'd love to hear at an outdoor event! Feeling the drops, the way you brought the bass in sounds mint. Further more i'm a big fan of your use of sampling in the song. Only thing i would suggest is maybe the odd massive reverb snare to really smash those drums in at bits. All in all, great job! Glad i listened :D

@ streetxlite - Nice track, really enjoyed the flow of it all. Bass is sounding nice and interesting too. Liking the way your mixing it up. Keep it up!

@clemsonheadies yea liking this man, sounds well produced, nice sweep synths and that bass fits well, good automation. keep it up!
@Kesek this is nice! intro fits well, good use of sounds, i like the melodicy feel to it, like the pads work well with the bass, and yea i agree its good how you mix it up.

Anymore feedback on mine appreciated, not sure if i posted this full length version, so here it is! Some future garage style, nice synths and vocal chops, put in a dubstep break too which i think fits quite well and mixes it up, but lemme know what you think! Cheers

@streetxlite - I'd say it's done man! Sounds great. Atmospheric and melodic, but dirty and grimey at the same time! Nice job on that. I'd love a 320 of the finished product.

@kontigo - digging the full length version of Here I Come. Loved that dubstep break too.. I'd love to hear an all-dubstep remix of this song!

@baaan - me likey the minimal dubstep! Interesting and never-boring drumbeat, awesome synths (bitcrushed?), and deliciously mellow pads on this one. I feel like the two parts at 2.04 and 2.38 should have the pads in them as well, just kinda feels like they're missing something ya know? Good tune.

@olux - The intro is a little difficult to understand at first, I think that whole first section should have the hats behind it so you can feel the beat better. In addition, I think both of the first two sections could be about half as long as they are right now.. the song just takes too long to get going. Once it DOES, though, fucking SICK! I love that middle-eastern flute and the bass line especially! Bring those in a little earlier in the track, and make a 2nd verse, and you've got yourself a solid tune.

Thanks to everyone who listened to my track and gave me feedback, I appreciate all the kind words! I've got a big-ass grin on my face right now  . I just realized after I saw a couple of those comments that I made the one main drum beat, but never did anything with it after that! I'm gonna mess around with that a little bit right now.

fuck yes future garage. this is the shit right here. reminds me of a week last year when i found that Skream Pour some more Champers remix and couldn't stop listening to it on repeat.
I want this. And i want to know how you go about getting the snappy garage beats too ... i've tried and failed

Here are a few track I've recently made. I know there is quite a bit wrong with the mix etc but I still quite like some of the ideas. No one else has heard these so just looking for a bit of feedback. Cheers.

So because it's not dubstep you don't have an opinion? Your record collection must be well shit! I didn't realise this was just for dubstep tunes...

ok so my OCD got the best of me and i did another quick mixdown of Red Eye Jedi.
I call this new one the "Redux My Bitcrush" version
which one do you prefer?

I might go even one step further and slice them up together, stitching them along like a zipper zips up making one seamless track.
all that talk about downsampling sweeps got me thinking and working...
also 320s all around *party* :w:

i have an opinion because you asked me for one by posting here dude.
this is the Dubstep forum, not the experimental progressive electronic thread

my record collection consists of really only 20 or so EPs and singles of bangers, but what do i care? i'm not a DJ, i'm a producer silly!

You gotta rate other songs before posting yours anyways. I was being nice :)

i love the ambient trip hop vibes on your first track. i fell right into this one for a few minutes and had to come out from the hypnotic beats afterwards

@streetxlite - I agree with your "zippering" idea. combine the two and it'll be badass! not that it isn't already.

BTW, Here's the (real) final version of FMJ.. I changed up the drums a little bit, as well as the filtered bass part in the last verse.

Kontigo - I like that song a lot, Especially at 2:18...Only one part that bugged me was the vocal track where its says " look at baby cuz here I come ..etc"

MineOurArc - In Double Deezes there is so much verb in it which is cool, but the drums seem to lack any kind of atmosphere.

Streetxlight - Thanks for the constructive criticism really helped! I really like certain parts of Red Eye Jedi in the bitcrushed (.56, 2:43) and I like certain parts in the Original. Not a part in that song I don't like, Might as well slice them together, can't hurt.

Clemsonheadies - Thanks for the advice, you we're right, I put pads where you suggested and I think it sounds better, sooo thanks!

I really like Envader, you've got a cool sample and a catchy basslines, the only thing that sticks out indifferently is the swooping phaser? on the snare... If you listen straight through, it doesn't change once except the intro, making it stick out... At least to me.
