was havin a little conversation about this at the pub the other night, my mate chose MRK1 over Distance (cos he didn't have enough $ for both). Personally I think they're both sick (and bought both).
What do you lot reckon, which one is your favourite?
edit: just did a mix of the two albums with tracks from both artists back2back

Both albums are really amazing, and compliment each other well. I was expecting the Distance to be amazing, but ended up being really floored by the Mrk1, so I guess I vote Mrk1.
Bigit to Planet µ for putting these out. I am really liking the way the dubstep albums on µ are sounding, very lush and great production. Do you think it is due to common mastering?

I don't think anyone can touch the Distance production value. His shit is kinda in a league of it's own for the most part IMO.

pretty fat that Planet Mu can release two albums within a short period of time that no so much as rival but compliment eachother. catered for both all tastes there i reckon. If you don't like either you can go do one

very close call.
for me 'night vision' and 'my demons' as single tracks are my favourite.
but as a complete album I have to go for copyright laws.
went and copped both tho, still!

Before they were released i think i was lookig forward to the Distance lp more but since getting them the MRK 1 has been on my decks a lot more- its great for mixing with.
So i think im going to vote for MRK 1

I like them both but Distance's is clearly more innovative and musical. But production wise and dancefloor potential are pretty even.
