Things i have watched recently:-
Hurtlocker- really good. intense, realistic, proper immersive atmosphere to it, you feel like your there rather than it being a "average war film".
The Hangover- fairly funny holywood trash, Alan is the only funny character but i still laughed a fair bit.
The Men Who Stare at Goats- pretty good, was funny although could of been a lot better at the end..

Seems a bit dated now and not as shocking as I remember it to be but it's still worth the watch.

VIDEO
If you get a chance to see, do not miss it. Looks amazing.
EDIT: Looks like the film will never be made, but that trailer is pretty awesome

Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon
Great mockumentary that takes place in a world where all the serial killers of slasher films were real. It follows an aspiring serial killer and all the clichés of slasher films. Funny, exciting, original. Make sure to watch the credits.

Genuine fear from this film. Watched it about 3 years ago on film4 late one night, stayed with me ever since. Found it for cheap on DVD and was compelled to watch it again. Fucking scarred me for life. Never again.

Much better than I expected.
Not bad, not great. Cinematography is great though.

Headfuck of a film, will have to watch it a few more times I think. One of the best time-travel films I've seen cause it's actually about the science behind it.
