whenever i dont really have time to produce, like i'm going to go out or somthing if i open up my daw half hour before i got to go out i seem to get so many more ideas out than if i had as much time as i wanted

I used to show up like an hour and two hours late to meet people all the time because of production stuff. Eventually my woman shouted at me for it and I had to knock it on the head, but fuck production is so addictive.

man i just leave everything last minute... chuck something tidy on & miss out on ma shower!!! only thing i stop for... is to get on the munts, funny thing is... the tracks on ma mind all night & all i wana do i get bak home. then shit kicks in & i forget about it all!!! :wink:

I don't really have to defrag every day, but because I do it only takes like 10 minutes. Plus it keeps my shit running niiiice 8)

Yup, I find a quick 30 minute blast when you have to do something else afterwards is sometimes a lot more constructive because I can spend HOURS just dicking about flicking through samples or tweaking a synth patch otherwise.

Oh yeah, totally. I think it is because you don't have any pressure, you're just fucking around having fun. Let that be a lesson to us all.

Re defraging (like wtf does that have to do with this thread?) I've never defragged this machine, but all my audio comes out of ram so, you know.

if you're on windows ick you prolly could optimize that machine and know why we defrag

I personally like Dell computers but if for the same price ($800) I can build something superior then I'm all for it.
