Post by rekstep » Sat Jun 05, 2010 4:41 am

so.. import this track to slice in fl studio and put it into a slice channel .. its sliced it up yea but there is over 1400 slices.. and on the paino roll it goes from slice #1 slice 2# slice 3# and so on till it goes to slice 124# then it misses like slices 1200 slices.. they just arent on the paino roll it goes..slice 124# then the slice above that is slice 1324# and all the slices that are inbetween are crammed onto that note for like ... 100 bars .. how do i get the slices in between u appear on there individual slice note in the paino roll :o

Open it as an audio clip. Cut that into sections. Use Slicer to refine them from there.

Use edison to chop out what you want and put it into Slicex.

This is a funny post.

Slicex is for cutting up like 1 or 2 or 4 bar breaks, not for cutting up an entire song. I don't know what you are up to, but I suspect a cheese snare on 3 and a wobble under a poppish toon is afoot? Correct me if I am wrong.

If its vocal or something, just drag the audio into the sequencer and work there..

But I have came across drum breaks what get this issue..

Just work with what it cuts, is my advice or use sections.

you know that you can do your own slicing, right? you don't have to let slicex lead you by the hand and do all the work for you. you have the power my son.
