Re: osscilator symmertry?
chages the symmetry of the waveform. basically, if you use predator, route lfo 1 to this osc sym 1 and modulate, you get the maddest, sickest sounds ever
Re: osscilator symmertry?
Yea it changes the shape of the lfo to make the peaks longer or shorter in time.
Re: osscilator symmertry?
i think not sure, some one correct me if im wronge. that is what albino and the other rp synths call phase.

doesnt it change the starting point at which the sine wave would start its cycle?3za wrote:i think not sure, some one correct me if im wronge. that is what albino and the other rp synths call phase.

if what you said is right, then what i said is rightdjake wrote:doesnt it change the starting point at which the sine wave would start its cycle?3za wrote:i think not sure, some one correct me if im wronge. that is what albino and the other rp synths call phase.

i dunno if what i said was right, its just something ive always thought was right, if ya get me?

yeah lfo's work the same as osc's the only differents is you don't here them, because they are modulation sources.djake wrote:an lfo is the same, just at very low speeds.

Re: osscilator symmertry?
Isnt it wherter the + and - side amplitudes are symmetrical or not, rather than phase?
Re: osscilator symmertry?
thanks for opening my brain... i got a habit of just modulating filter cutoff or amplitude, but there's a billion other things i could modulate...goodeh wrote:chages the symmetry of the waveform. basically, if you use predator, route lfo 1 to this osc sym 1 and modulate, you get the maddest, sickest sounds ever
Re: osscilator symmertry?

Symmetry is...
Pulsewidth or Symmetry of the respective
Oscillator waveform, used to thicken a sound or
make it swirl, effect depends on intensity and
modulation speed, typically with LFO.
