Post by test_recordings » Tue Jun 08, 2010 10:22 pm

I study okinawa kobudo which includes nunchaku but wikipedia said they became illegal this year, will I get fucked if I'm found with them even if going to training? Link to evidence whichever way please!

its the same as replica guns, you can have them in your house, you just cant take them anywhere! i've always been told to get them off the internet and delivered to your house. one of my old housemates had some, so much fun. her had some foam ones too, they were good fun as well. little less intimidating to learn on too.

a mate of mine bought a full ninja suit, a katana blade and a set of nun-chucks from ebay and customs didn't batter an eyelid.

Nunchaku weren't introduced to Japan until the early 1900s therefore highly unlikely to be used to be used by 'ninjas' (more correctly known by the native Japanese kun'yomi pronunciation rather than the Chinese-derived on'yomi as '忍の者 / Shinobi-no-mono' or shortened to '忍者 / Shinobi-mono')!

Just picked up another 4 pieces as well for my mate when he gets back from working offshore :o fun times
