drummer, tho i play "the percussions" far more than i play the kit these days.

each instrument you learn to play will teach you certain approaches to groove and melody. this includes each type of drum you learn how to play. and the size of your keyboard will effect your playing too. and if you use an arpegiator. and the touch sensativity of your interface.

a piano player will likely have musicality in chording but gtr or bass gtr will bring dif body grooves and teh extra range of motion opened up from the slidy interface.

Looks like you've got termite issues bruv... ;)

Used to play semi-pro, then gave up drumming shortly before getting into electronic music in a big way. Still got my old kit set up in my room - rosewood Sonor 4-piece from the 70s with an Acrolite snare - but haven't played properly in years. Been meaning to get back into it for ages and consistently fail at doing so.
