Komplete 6

Post by AtomzxxBomb » Sun Jun 13, 2010 7:33 pm

I was thinking of purchasing this.
Does anyone have any experience with it or feedback?
I was curious if it needed a Midi controller to play sounds , instead of just a keyboard.

Cop it, you will have everything you need and more in your musical arsenal.
Minus real instruments but you can sample them and professional musicians but you can mimic them, or maybe you are a professional musician...I'm just rattling here and you have zoomed in to read it.

It's beyond worth it. You won't need anything else.

Except maybe Kore 2 / w Controller to tie it all together but that's just icing on the cake...

If you are newb, komplete can be overwhelming. There is so much to learn there. But if you are newb, komplete will have everything you need to make just about anything involving sound.

I got overwhelmed with komplete, and I just use massive and kontakt :)

Get a cheap midi keyboard as well. Getting Komplete wthout one would be like sticking a nisan micra engine in a ferarri

yeah you don't NEED a midi controller, but it'll make things 1000x easier. if you can afford Komplete 6, then you can definitely afford a $100 Oxygen 8 or something similar.

If it's cracked it will cause you all kinds of problems, probably wiping out your computer when all is said and done.

It has problems and I bought it, but most of them were fixed in the last update... I suggest buying it... since I bought it about 5 months ago my brother is STILL trying to crack massive and battery... let alone the other synths.... NI is pretty good at antipiracy and it's a serious pain to use their stuff cracked, my bro is buying it

I bought it and don't need anything else... my mac, Live 8, komplete 6, akai mpk25.... all i need!

I have some other stuff that I use, but it's mainly effects, like Sugar Bytes stuff since Dblue glitch is pc only

I highly recommend buying it though.... if you listen to my music every single sample I use (with the exception of a few recorded ones) is made from Komplete 6... don't mind the sound quality that part I'm still learning and is done with Live effects, not the synths in Komplete... I have yet to fully learn to use Reaktor, and Kontakt is starting to make more sense to me now... but I have a lot to learn about these devices which gives me the thought that I have all the tools and power i need to make just about anything

I have made a few entire drum kits in Battery, with over 30+ samples in each kit that were all made in FM8 and Absynth... and this is just from having this stuff since early febuary... I have a sample demo that you can download off my soundcloud that has one small drum kit of samples all spread out on an audio track.... all from FM8 and Absynth5

Reaktor is such a beast, you really dont need anything else at all.

You can download an infinity of synths, effects, mad glitchy stuff, all for free from NIs site, (if youre legit) and thatsll keep you going for years.

Ive got Komplete 5 and I use battery a lot, hardly use massive and kontakt (although will get round to it) never use the pianos or pro53, havent even looked at absynth and fm8 yet, this shit will serioulsy keep me entertained for years.

Also comes with a ton of great quality samples.

Abso bloody fantastic.

I think what he is saying is that out of all that komplete has to offer, he uses battery. :D

Did you ever cross a bridge and get the feeling like something might be under there?

i will do, when i get time .

My/our son was born 2 months ago so have hardly had any time to play anymore ! Reaktor is just so infinitely deep, ive only really had a play with the others. Battery is a wysiwyg tpe deal so a doddle for drums. Used kontakt before but use more audio than samplers these days.

My mate knows fm7/fm8 inside out, does some sick dirty bass on it, need to get him round for a demo.
