I read somehwhere that they use the Noisia Flux Capacitor in conjunction with the secret mixdown button on the back of the Reason rack when they work a snare. I hope this helps a bit.

sounds to me like one of the vengeance white noisey big snares (try the VEC1 pack) with a dickload of compression to squash the dynamics. and a reverbed clap over the top to give it high end

As mentioned you should ask this sorta stuff over production.. infact don't, you'll get ripped. Pre-warning. I'm not too sure as to how Nero goes about the way he does, but from my experiments I would definately layer at least 2 snares, snare and a clap? Layer it with a touch of white noise, reverb, throw a high pass filter over it and bob's your your uncle. Should get something reasonably decent sounding, get experimenting man!

nice and constructive criticism.. exactly why i spend all my time on forums like this.. tho to be fair, the bass is all fucked up in that tune, if we're gonna get realisitic then, your tunes and your style have no structure or style.. nothing there that sounded above average home made dubstep.
