Changing keepers is a silly idea... All keepers make howlers every now and then, and David James is definitely NOT immune!!

Slovenia one up... Our group just got interesting too! Jeeeesus...

I'd agree that changing keepers is a silly idea, but I wasn't pro Rob Green in the first place so I think I'd rather he did get dropped. I'd rather Joe Hart than David James but experience counts for a lot in the World Cup and unfortunately Hart's lacking in that area.

Glad I'm not Fabio.

Always this. Most underappreciated job in England.

Given the number of people who say that, I don't think it is really.

On a vaguely related note, on 8/10 cats they said 48% of people (or some ridiculous amount like that) of Brits said being England football manager is harder than being Prime Minister. I guess it's stats like that that give football fans a bad name.

should have won though.. that 3-2 was as regular and fair as it gets, some really really dodgy refs today :?

germany vs serbia, not even that much of a rough game but 9 yellow cards including one player being sent off?? :u: needs more uk refs imho

Dear England,

Please do us all a favor and beat the hell out of Slovenia. Thank you.

Most unfair officiating I've seen in a long time. Should have been US 3, Slovenia 2.

Yeah, definitely.

That disallowed American goal was harsh. It should have counted or they should have been awarded a penalty. At least three fouls were being committed by Slovenians in the box.

i agree... Green should definitely be allowed to play out of that bad reputation, to change him is just unfair...

I enjoyed the Americans getting owned by the ref. Now time for England to stamp their mark on this group with a convincing win over a terrible Algerian side.
