if you have an iphone its sick for making all kinds of video game sounds anywhere you go, it can sequence loops and even multitrack tunes and stuff..... and it was only $4 CDN.

I got a roll up piano as an xmas gift from my pa years back, he always gets me gifts that most people would class as shit haha
It's actually pretty good, turned up to a few fancy dress parties wearing it as a toga style! Bit depressing when it's only males that seem interested in fondling it though. It does drums and delay along with a few other useless effects
Think the best strategy is to storm a car boot sale and haggle the bastards down!
Look on ebay for an old Yamaha QY portable sequencer. About the size of a gameboy, my friend in college had a QY 70 and it was pretty decent. I got a QY 10 used for $30 back in the day, harder to work with, and older with less functions, but it's at least usable, and a decent scratch pad. Or an SU 10... Though you would probably have to look for a deal. Do you have a DS? You could hook up the Korg DS 10.
What about a used 25key controller and a long USB cable/headphone cable?
On a side note, I actually have all these old displays and computer stuff I got when I worked at compUSA back in the day. The company went out of business and there was an obscene amount of stuff people had left at the tech shop. I should be able to run a flat screen and a wireless mouse/keyboard to the bathroom. Just mount the display in front of the shitter and then use my little M-Audio 25 keyboard and I can basically work on my DAW. Or watch movies or whatever.
