That's a very good point. Depends in what direction you're going in as to which you're more likely to refer to it as.

Well, If I'm drinking some nice Whisky or Ale I go "ahh fuck, half's gone!"

If I was drinking a glass of someone's piss I'd go "ahhh fuck, still half left"
