@shanekenton - i like the ambient bits. i'd switch the drum beat up every 4 to 8 bars tho... keep the track bouncin... and the crunchier synth could do with a bit less distortion imo. good start tho... keep puttin in that work!

Been asked to do an official remix to Circuit - Lets Headbang which if they like will be released on beatport/I-tunes etc alongside the original which is pretty fucking cool. Spent a few hours piecing together an intro, would be great to get some feedback so far. The bassline isn't final, tempted to keep the pattern and 'bounce' but add more in terms of notation and melody as it's pretty much only one note so far.

Soundcloud

Shanekenton - like the drums a lot in the intro, i'd use more than one hi-hat though. Keep the pattern, just mix up the hats and it'll make a world of difference. Bassline is very typical, but expected seeing you just got massive. Research and read the manual and you'll get a lot deeper into it!

Olux - Really nice, i like the reversed drums that hit, sick!

@marshy sounding nice man, really like the intro melodies but yea i agree with what you said need to add more to the bassline to mix it a bit, sounding gd so far though!
@geeza liking the shuffley rhythm of the drums in this one, sounds good, could probably do with a couple of little changes to keep it interesting at the track goes on.

heres mine, i been making more future garage vibes recently so wanted to get back to some dubstep and came up with this, some nice synthy melodic sounds, feedback appreciated!Soundcloud

I liked it. Its really different and has a real chill vibe to it. not overly elaborate and not too simply simplistic. the vocals in the background were kinda trippin me out trying to figure out what it was saying. it wasnt too quite it just blended in the track well enough. keep going with it. honestly its not something id want to play out but the vibe is really chill :)

Thanks to everyone who liked the track! I'll message anyone who asks a link to the finished version, hopefull it gets a release alongside the original!

Jayzest- I'm pretty drunk right now but i'm loving it mate! Really enjoy the drums, the hi-hat pattern works great along with the kick and snare, it's like really slow garage? Like i've said before, i'd just make the hi-hat pattern involve a few different hits, keep the pattern though. They all sound open, get a few closed and replace a few and it'll work great.

Geeza - It sounds a bit dull on my monitors. Layer and fill it out a little more.

kontigobeats - Nice sounds from the get go! Yea, this is nice! Maybe kickdrum could be brought out a bit more, but that's really a maybe.

Loud Flavor - Pretty crazy!

JayZest - Roll some highs off from those hihats. Your melodys are all really distant sounding, keep some sounds distand and some more upfront imo.

i really like this track so far but that siren sound just takes over the whole tune in my opinion. good work otherwise though, nice bassline goin on too.

@ marshy-sounds excellent,drums are really nice and it flows and sounds well,maybe a bit too long on the intro though,excellent work tho fella,be nice to hear it finished,btw the drop is sexual too,warrr..

@geeze- drums sound nice but could do with some variation,all the ideas are rite in this track,really feeling it,get it done

@filtroniks-sounds really good,not sure about the whole vocal but maybe just some parts,maybe do with abigger sub on it,sounds really good tho,fair play

My track,something a bit darker than usual,and literally knocked together today,shall return feedback to anyone who listens and comments.safe J

@Marshy: Love the intro and it really builds nicely into the drop. Would grab this if it was forthcoming on wax.

Cheers mate, all these kind words are appreciated! If it gets released alongside the original i think it'll be digital only. I'll let you know though!

kinda reminds me of some benga styles i'd do some subtractive editing of the drums give it more breaks / drops / space liking the main synth tho seems like the velocity changes a bit when it goes higher dunno if thats from your eqing or what perhaps crompress it a bit to level it out

nother bootleg i've been working on Soundcloud

@redjuan
i think the long intro suits it well, maybe boost some of the levels and add some ear catching incidentals,
the second half sounds almost finished to me, i love this simple bass+drums style (as long as all the samples are prime, which they are in this case)

@leviticus
the beats in this track are really well produced and catchy, but they get relentless after a while, i was really relieved when the slow bit started later on
sounds finished to me, or damn near. i feel odd giving feedback on this type of track, as i really don't know much about dancehall beats or this style.
definitely sat well with me by the end though.

here's a wip i threw together today. thinking i'm gonna do a few more hours work on automation and tweaks tomorrow, but here's what i got for now.
