"The Four Horsemen" - New Tunage

Post by doctor nimble » Sat Feb 24, 2007 3:09 pm

Ey up guys. Just joined the forum. This is something I should have done a while ago, but my time is very limited due to studies.

I'll do my best to review as many tracks as I can, all dependent on time.

Here is me track...

Feedback is a bonus, many thanks for taking the time to check this post.

Oh Yeah That's some serious Bass.

What synth are you using?

If you don't mind me being critical, I found the organ stabs a bit too long.

Cool though :D

Ey up.

I'm purely using Reason 3 for production (upgrading to Cubase in the near future). The bass is created via the Malstrom synth with controlled filters, controlled master level and pitch.

I agree about the organ stabs, so I will adjust them accordingly and get a 320 uploaded to sendspace. I am a big believer in using any criticism to improve what you are doing, so thank you for the advice. :D

In a bit guys...

Duncan.

Cheers for the feedback good fellows. The link is now active for the slightly improved version following the advice from "Oceanzen".

If anyone wants a 320, send me a private message and I will bump you the link.

In a bit, Duncan.

Thanks again 8)

Quality, listening in as a write. Haveing to flick between yours and the R8 set on borgradio (R8 crew are good friends/acquaintances of mine).

Big up to both!!!

Cheers for the feedback.

that bassweight is heaaaaaaavy

i like that lil creepy synth in there and the keys and that organ give it a really cool movement throught the whole track. never really gets caught up in one kinda area, just keeps moving forward with lil variations coming thru. that bassline has bad intentions written all over it it too. :D:

definitely shoot me a link for a 320!

Big up to all...

Many thanks for the kind words and feedback. I have only recently had time to start on my dubstep projects. So the positive comments are seriously appreciated.

In a bit guys, Duncan.
