@ UnitedFruits - great subs. i was thinking towards the end maybe changing up the bass line a bit, but the change eventually came in the end. good track.

@ Haack - Again, love the sub bass, but have to agree with another comment that another build up and drop wouldn't hurt.

@ Hakka - So I've been a fan of John B for many years, and this is one of my favorite tracks of his that you remixed. Very well done, however it seems so close to the original with a few changes. More like an edit or fix of the original. Really like Badman Killa :D

I have been teaching myself Ableton for the past 6 months. This is the first of two tracks I finally feel confident enough to post for feedback. This is a version I tried mastering myself using Izotope Ozone 4. Any feedback appreciated...

@ Haak - Cheers man, try to be as mad as possible with my beats lol. Love the sweeps in your tune, would make the dance floor do mad things! Is that a glokenspiel (sp) that comes in near the 2nd drop? Bit of delay on it? Love that sound! Proper deep vibes! Keep it up, sounds really proffesional.

@ Kingnoble - Cheers man, still loads of work to do, all the drums are my own and the perc. Gunna change the drop so it sounds diffrent from the original. Wanted to keep the original elements as the intro is so epic. Gotta be in there with my all time favs. Love the switches in your tune and them plucks, build ups sound heavy, i got some competition with you guys! Sounding heavy! Wobble sounds a tad flat, maybe boost the low end a tiny bit just on the wobble. Might be just my headphones though. Good work mate!

^ heres my new one.

@ WeedCali - its really interesting, I am not sure how i'd take it but I am very interested in where you take it. I will say the mix does sound a bit muddy though, even on soundcloud.

@ oscarhenson - All I can say is WOW! That is a piece of beauty, not music haha" I really like it, my only advice would be to progress it faster/more as it does get a tad repetitive, the synths mainly, the drums are fine!

@ Haack - Great sub work, really liking the drums and the little echo's here and there within them! AMAZING atmosphere, progresses nicely, i think you need to work on the midrange a bit more, if it was a bit more structured it'll fit more, the wobble doesn't seem to fit though but the high attack bass does!

@weedcall nice rootsy vibe to it, mite need to control the subs in the first section, and the drums might need a bit of eq to take some harshness, but good job mate :)

@kindnoble, sounding fat mate decent tune for someone whos only been using ableton for 6 months, well done mate, carry on! Propa filthy, the drums might be to be a bit fatter as they're a bit biscuit tin tm, nice melodies and liking the guitar sample nice one :) Cool indian/eastern vibe to it :)

@hakka, fat tune mate crazyness, nice and controlled but still insane, organised chaos :) Think the reggae stabs could do with a bit of eq mat to take out that harshness around 4k. Cool tunes though all in all:)

@legend4ry, think it needs some more layers as it's a bit empty atm, maybe develop some pads or other background ambience, or just a shit load of perc sounds :) It has potential mate :)

Sampled the drums from Led Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks"
Not sure what genre you would put this in either but I really want feedback on what I have so far!!!

@ weedcali: Interesting indeed, like the use of samples but as legendary said, needs a better mix down

@ legendary: really you wobble man...some variation would be nice, be it lead bas or drum patter. But its sounding good none the less

@NICORISONE: I liek the use of the drum sample but i dont know what going on in your track to create a bad crackling noise...needs to be fixed

Heres mine, really need some help with the intro...No idea on how to approach it : /

Thanks for the feedback! The crackling noise I believe is coming from my piano, something messed up when i loaded it in my slicer and changed the tempo. Hopefully going to fix that today!

@tipo test: like it, bare funky, really like the bleeps that go along with the beat.. couple things, the synth when it drops seems a little thin and dry, and also a little loud... i really like the bongos and little hits that fill out the beat after the drop but they're really quiet, maybe up em. good progression, maybe mess with the beat a bit but having said that i need to do that a lot myself so haha.. great though

@narrator: really like the beat, and mostly like the bassline although personally i wouldn't use that bitcrushed 'yoy' sound.. just a personal opinion, it's been done a little much and the rest of the bassline is much nicer so maybe drop that bit. but your call

@mouldy soul: cheers for the comment, and yeah it's not all done yet like i say, little flourishes like what you mention need to be considered. love your tune, really progressive sound, the beat is sick... finish that one and it'll be peng

@uniter fruits: nice vibe.. the snare sounds a little weird, like it's been really heavily compressed? maybe have a look at that. bass needs a little work too, but a nice feel for sure man. also, just my preference but the sample could either be shorter or dropped out

@haack: cheers for the feedback, yeah the mixdown needs a lot of work etc so if you follow me you'll see the end result when it comes out ;) wow, reallly great, that bassline is so killer. not much in terms of stuff to add to it in my opinion, maybe a few little switch ups here and there, little hits or beat skips and stuff just to keep it fresh.

@legend4ry: cheers man, thanks alot.. make sure you check back soon for the finished product and check my other works and progress on my soundcloud. really like the bass in your tune, but i think that snare could either do with a little EQing or layering with another snare it seems a bit weak.

mine's still on the first page so i'd really appreciate some more comments, thanks alot

Two tracks I have been working on that aren't dubstep.. I figure i'd change it up a little bit.

Both tracks i have been trying to go for another feel. Let me know what's up :] I got new monitors and mastering them has been getting a lot easier to pick out sample clips and misc reverbs and delays.

Don't be surprised if I leave tons of feedback on your soundcloud, I hope you do the same for me.

@ Galbm - That is really fuckin good. i would rob your house to get that bassline man. haha..

Here's a bit of a slight update on the track i'm working on, kind of getting overly concerned with the bass sounds.

nothing is mixed but would love some feedback on it.

@ weedcali: I like it! I think you need to mix it down a little, but other than that its cool! :D

@ NICORISONE: I like the drum sample also! and like ENNO said theres a crackling noise that needs to be fixed :[

@ ENNO: Wow I really like it! I think for the intro you should take the outro, then run the sample "deadly neurotoxin" maybe with a little delay or something on it, also with the sample used around 30 seconds, which kind of sounds like a skipping tape, then go into the several kicks. <---- probably doesn't really make much sense but I don't know how else to explain it

Heres something I've been working on... never really got about to finishing it but I'm thinking about finishing it since most of it is already there. I need your opinion though, Should I just scrap it and start something new, or just finish it up? My computer crashed a few months ago and I lost like ALL my samples and patches n stuff so i had to remake the drums real quick to post it here but anyways i know it's got alot of work, so the things that i know that are wrong with it are 1. The drums, 2. The second wobble in the beginning, 3. idk if the bass is alright cuz i don't have headphones atm and routing my audio through my tv..... but what do u say, finish it or scrap it? and if I should finish it any advice for it?
