NEW YORK — Al-Qaida is preparing to launch its first online propaganda newspaper in English, a move that could broaden the terror group's reach inside the U.S.
Counterterrorism officials and terror analysts say the newspaper, called Inspire, will be run by al-Qaida's branch in Yemen. That's the same group that's linked to the failed Christmas Day bombing of a U.S.-bound airliner.
The group is already promoting the paper online, with slick animated graphics promising a "special gift to the Islamic nation." The ad says Anwar al-Awlaki will write a guest column for the first issue. Al-Awlaki is the radical U.S.-born cleric now living in Yemen.
For years, Al-Qaida has used Arabic websites to carry its message. But the group has had success recently attracting followers inside the U.S.
"special gift to the Islamic nation"..... fuck you al qaeda!!!

that's just utter bollocks though. people aren't fanatacised into groups like al qaeda by reading a fucking newspaper. all i can see it doing is bringing information/propaganda to people that are already leaning towards al qaeda, and generally the reason they're leaning that way is because of the failures of their own governments

People join al qaeda for reasons other than dislike for the government.

don't be fooled
yeah I mean surely you'd be a fool to ever think little people are the problem?
There are the people running things that control everything from the news to the supply chain of food and there are these random muslims with no power by comparison....people are people wherever you go just like you and me bass hertz....do you REALLY think all these little people sit around cooking up evil schemes?
the only people that are the problem are the people making the news
