Lol you've been spoiled man... on the east coast (and even in Tennessee, the second most green producing state) it's more than that, and the quality is not even half of what it is here :P

Yeah, lord knows I'm grateful to live near the Emerald Triangle - but still. It's the principle of the thing... It's a fucking weed, people!

I mean, gangsters would be shooting each other and planting up state parks with tomatoes too if they were $4000 a pound! :D

prices are dropping on the wholesale end, i would expect that to eventually be reflected on the retail end.

that articles focus is on the northern outdoor crops, but i've heard it's getting a lot harder to get rid of indoor as well. i would have expected that the overall effect of that would be the quality continuing to go up and the price to begin to go down. maybe not though, maybe as you said it will just be a more exclusive group of growers dominating the market.
