Me too, i'm also going to have to go with Germany. I underestimated them after their struggle with Ghana & Serbia and their only big wins previous to Argentina have been against poor teams. As i say, Holland are a great team but cannot bring myself to back them after knocking Brazil out haha. Thing that gets me is how young the German side is, imagine how they'll be doing in 2-4 years from now in the next Euro and World Cup.

Brazil deserved knocking out this time. They didn't bring enough and they lost their cool big time yesterday.

Germany peaked too early. Holland or Spain to win.

Nope, but i've always supported Brazil. Always enjoyed watching them play since i watched my first World Cup and have had respect for the team's skill and passion for the game since. The fans in general always seem to be positive, upbeat, and largely contribute toward the life of World Cup atmosphere. :)

They did lose composure big time after Holland's 2nd goal went in which was incredibly frustrating. Well, i'm still optimistic we have a young enough team. Ronaldinho and Adriano were left out to make way for some new talent who's experience can really be built on for the next World Cup. Plus, home advantage. :P

Brazil were disappointing this year. Brazilians shouldn't have two holding midfielders to suffocate the game, what's Dunga playing at? It's should be free flowing fluid total football, where the whole team attacks as one. Infact, every team looks laboured, cautious and fatigued this year, I don't know whether it's the altitude or possibly just the nature of football has changed to a more conserative approach but it hasn't been as enjoyable as the three previous WC's I've witnessed.

As for Germany, they are everything I want England to be. Understated, hard working, direct, organised and efficient. Work as a team and give their all for their country. Instead we have flashy passionless up-their-own-arse pricks who couldn't wait for the tournament to be over so they can cruise their penthouses running trains on desperate bints. Maybe when the Premier League financial bubble finally bursts and the players return to realistic wages we may get a team of Englishman that actually want to play for their country.

Uraguay have a big chance to earn back some of my respect if they knock Holland out. Forlan's goal was brilliant, so was V. Bronckhorst's but i'm behind Uragauay for this one. And...
