if you're using ableton, the collision drum synth is brilliant for building gorgeous minimal percussive sounds imho. I'm sure there are similar drum synth VST's around if you're not in abelton.

Otherwise you're generic Roland type samples are pretty good starting points I find, just thin them out or dull them down instead of beefing up like you might for a more in-your-face track, feat. generous processing.

I can`t get enough of wonder beyond, heart it in CX prodcast from Loxy, then dropping ochre..big up winnie
