ULTRAGORE #04: DECREE—SYNTHETIC COCKTAIL

New York dubstep producer Decree (aka Dylan Marcus) has been in the production game since high school, producing drum and bass, dubstep, and even running his own label—all before the age of 18. Today, he’s gaining notoriety as a dub producer with heavy chops and a tight production style. On his first single for Ultragore, Decree brings the heavy with Synthetic Cocktail.

Cocktail builds out of foreboding ambience into an abrupt drop where raw bass twists and grinds over huge sub-bass reverberation. This sexy beast growls and purrs, riding the beat to summery piano interludes and beyond where Decree breaks things down, taking the best of both worlds, making their presence known, and then returning to the heavy bass in this twisting, turning dub bass tune.

On the remix, Sluggo takes the aforementioned sexy dancer for a shift at the rave with his Chuggo Sluggo Remix.
