corpu5: Thanks Man!!! I'm likin your WIP, gettin a very tropical ambient lounge vibe, very tight.
HAAK: Sounding BIG! I'm loving that Drop! :r:
NackleWicket: Haha YoyYoyYoy eh? I think he's trying to communicate... Nice work so far, I really like the intro birdcall type thing... I'd say put more of that in :)

Alright Guys, so I got 2 tonight... A Heavy one, and a Chill'd Relaxed one.

Naroja: Feeling the heavy one a lot more than the chilled one, liking it a lot man. Was just listening to it, waiting for one hell of a drop, then it stopped :u:
Go finish! :)

Jerrdan: Man, thats your first track? Not friggin' bad at all lmao, kicks the ass out of mine which i'm about to post

TheBreadMan: Quite feeling your track man, got a nice feel to it, but not keen on the wobble in around the minute mark. Just sounds like it needs to be a bit beefier :D

------------------

And now mine.. Heh

This is the first track i've ever made. Been messing around with reason for around a week now and starting to get to grips with it. This is just a little taster of what i've come up with so far. Looking to get as much critism and advise as possible.

Cheers for listening

@ Haak- Really feeling this, that bassline has really nice movement in it, nice and clean, not much i can really say other then that, except maybe it could do with a few more random little sounds dotted about

@ Corpu5- Really nice feel to the tune, and that trumpety sort of thing is really nice around the drop, but im not sure about the snare after the drop, i think its a bit to nasty for the tune maybe a bit overcrushed or something

@nacklewicket: your sub is too loud!!!

@naroja : that Heavy one sounds like an awesome into, it just needs a tune to drop into

and the chilled one again i think could be a pretty good intro, but i think that bleepy thing is too resonant and it needs more drums or precussion i think to make it feel like its moving somewhere

now onto mine, me and lp have been working on this for a while, getting closer to being finished. Im still very unsure of the breakdown as a whole, and im trying to find inspiration for some more middbass, but ill let you lot decide

Alright I'll try this again

@harry179
it sounds great all the way through, but after you first drop maybe try making it less busy. slow the lfo automation and simplify the drums some so that it gives your track somewhere to go

I have the snare layered with two snares, but i threw the reverb on there and fatten up the sound a little...kinda has like a rasta style like steel drum ring/echo...

to everyone:thank you for the feedback...please be sure that everyone gives their feedback..i'm a total noob, but I am trying to hit the producing hard. I have nothing but time.

Yh sidechaining is a process that picthes the level of your bass down to allow what ever sound your sidchaining to become more prominant. so sidechain your drums to the bass. research on youtube to get a better explanation or search the forums for dubstep production bible its a must reaad for a noob. all it is is a learning process when i first started i quit in 5 mins cos i couldnt work out how to open redrum in reason haha now i make half decent tracks i suppose after a bit of reasearch and self learning. read read read and experiment!!!

@supermoter: Weird tune, can see a bit of effort has been applied there though, it's sounding good so far.

@nnny: Not bad at all for a first effort, better than my first attempts anyway

@ Naroja: I echo everyone else's sentiments, needs a mean drop next!

Putting this one up before I go see the gf for the weekend, will give feedback for feedback when I get back monday.

Quite pleased with this one but dont know whether becuase it's just fresh in my head. I seem to have a great difficulty doing a verse/chorus thing with my songs but that doesn't seem to bother Kryptic Minds and their stuff is ace so will see what other people think :)

dreadheaded: your music makes me miss drugs, love it.

joydot: weird track as well, kinda all over the place. but cant wait to see where you take it.

RightOnTime27: funky tune, I would use more transitional effects (sweeps, bleeps, samples) between some of the shifts in melody, just to tie it together better. IMO

SesG: sounds done to me, love the toms.

NICORISONE: imo, i would cut back a little on the reverb in the first melody and maybe back it up with a soft pad or something to fill it out, the second melody is good.
if you wanted to intigrate the two melodies better, maybe try taking the first note of the first melody, toss a little delay in and put it in every few bars over the second melody.

and i really need any sort of advice on this
Soundcloud

this one needs a lot of work but i don't know what, i'm open to anything. was gonna scrap it ,but my friends say its got potential. what do you think?

@jaydot i loved the sample leading up the second drop i was crying, see if you can and some umph to your distorted bass so when it hits its a little more impactful. And your advice made me thing of the guy from spaceballs (The sweeps, the bleeps, and the creeps, etc etc)
