Just go out to a lively place for a drink and a good time with no expectations and chances are you will bump into someone that will tickle your fancy. However god can be funny sometimes, this Thursday I was out and I was saying to my mate that it's about time I lenged a ting down... 5minute's later this drunk girl who broke up with her boy friend who she was with for three years was all over me looking for a bit of dirty attention. Be outwardly friendly but still poised and modest, don't come off as desparate creep..girls can read that shit.. Oh, and DON'T get too wasted, save the party nights for later. It's acceptable and recommended.

I wouldn't recommend doing it in a pub or a club though. More often than not if you don't have a good wingman to help knock other guys out of the picture you'll find yourself competing with idiots for the first half of the night, which is just a bore and a hassle and by the time you're finished pushing them out of the picture you're left with very little time to close. If you wanna do things solo you're better going to the park and just chilling on the grass with a guitar, sit in a coffee shop with a paper till you see a bored looking girl. Nothing wrong with approaching girls in the street as long as you pick them right, don't go for ones that look like their in a rush. Oh, buses and bus stops are good too, and trains.

If your willing to experiment, read up on pick up artists like Neil Strauss and Mystery and have a go at some of the stuff they talk about. I didn't become Don Juan but trying some of the techniques out made me more confident, and help me engage better with girls.
