parallel compressing in ableton
Can someone explain how to do this in ableton.
is it just as simple as putting a compressor on a send channel and sending your track to the send channel? Do you have it only going to the send and not the master? (i guess it wouldnt be parallel then) or do you have it going to your master and the send as well?

Why use a send when you could use an audio effect rack? Much cleaner.
Chain 1 = compressor
Chain 2 = dry signal
Chain 1 = compressor
Chain 2 = dry signal
