ESSENCE OF CHI CARNIVAL PAYBACK
Essence of Chi returns to the Gramaphone to celebrate Carnival weekend in full effect! Not only will we be taking over two floors of the venue this time, but we are having a one-off “Payback” event where the door price will be a staggering FIVE POUNDS ALL NIGHT. That means no advance tickets people, so arrive early to avoid disappointment! Our August event sees the welcome return of the brilliant BREAK , who has so busy that it’s been nigh impossible to track him down since his last appearance for us in 2006. He plays alongside EOC debutants ULTERIOR MOTIVE and NEED FOR MIRRORS who are both currently breaking new ground in the D&B scene. All this alongside all your regular EOC favourites all ready to tear up the Funktion One soundsystem Carnival style!
