yeah im surprised there aren't more artists that do this, everyone gets away with the second drop sounding the same as the first. Skream is the frontrunner for switch ups though.boxxy wrote:it's good. i like the differences in the drops
ex: simple city, oskillatah, guitar hero, etc

yup, all about the build up and anticipation
Utterly perfected in that sense, not a 25 second disjointed drum pattern with an entirely out of place metallic drop like a lot of 'filth' tends to be.

Skream can do any type of dubstep at the top of its game, his versatility is incredible, but yeah exothermic must be up there.
And yeah there was a thread about tunes with huge second drops and every other tune was a Skream tune

Don't think it's that tearout tbh.
Think it's got quite a dark subdued vibe.
Where as stuff like Raw Dogz I would consider tear out.
I just think it's one of the best dubstep songs I've heard, nuff said.

Perhaps the best 2nd drop in Dubstep. But best tearout tune? Nah, there's a myraid of Coki tunes that that award could go to over this.

Its a big tune, prefer the 1st drop the 2nd though.
Eyes down business.
I would say this is a competitor though.
Still sounds fresh and its came out in 07..

This is all opinion of course, but I'd say Spongebob, Gobin, Chief Dub (DMZ 5th bday, my God!) all get me going more than Exo. Reaction. Skream - Metal Mouth also. Oh and Jakes - War Face VIPjungletime21 wrote:which ones then? cuz i dont know if i agreewilson wrote:Perhaps the best 2nd drop in Dubstep. But best tearout tune?
