Why would he use the greek derivative and not just call them "time-measures", or just say that they did measure time and that he couldn't create an equivalent, instead of using the word "chronometers"? The whole thing smacks of fiction.

And parsons just has a knack for being an idiot. The fact that he thinks he can judge a person's level of cognitive reasoning through the internet is fucking ridiculous.
