i thought the sequel was aight. definitely not cronenberg, but they made an attempt to keep the spirit of cronenberg alive.

Inception.

Total mind-fuck. The plot is a bit on the ropey side (though I'm sure repeat viewings will smooth out the bumps) and bits of the action feel either shoe-horned in there or not essential to the plot. But having said that the performances are excellent across the board (particularly by the lad from 'Bronson' who plays Eames and who I can't be arsed to google), the film looks *amazing* and it manages to be both brainy and action packed. What more could you fucking want?

Think of it like the matrix but without the cod philosophy.

Dickie Attenborough is fucking AMAZING in this. I was genuinely hiding behind my hands whilst on a packed train.

Maybe the best real crime story I've ever seen.

My nan used to work in the cinema as an usher with the guy that film is about, and my uncle (not by blood) was related to the guy who got wrongly charged with the murders.

Good film.

I liked it. It was fun. Nice and gorey and had some interesting ideas about how to do a vampire movie.

Plus Parson is right it has a pretty amusing but rather clever method of showing that about western society in it. Doesn't over do it either.
