@Carsonac, really digging the tune, solid effort, if you want to make the track more appealing I would play around with the lead synth from 0-53 try and make it little closer to your drop lead synth. Something about it that makes me cringe a bit. But the drop I really like, that is on par with the top. Digg the ambience!

Here is something I made in Reason, going for a kryptic minds feel.

That pad is lush, mate.. Not sure about it stuttering in/out. Works great as a pure drone.
The kick pattern works well. Nice and hypnotic.
Sounds an awfull lot like Eyez, by Mala though :wink:

@ toot

Feeling this track a lot! What kind of synth are you using? Sounds great.

@NICORISONE

Cool track but i'm not really digging the synth you use (the one that opens the track); sounds kinda cheesy to me.

@mindcontrol

I want more! Why only 41 seconds? Sounds real good.

@olux

Wow. You got skills. Tracks sound really clean. What DAW are you using?

The last track, Counting, I kept waiting for the drop and it never came. Is that on purpose? After listening to the first 2 songs I was expecting DROP!

Threw this together today while nursing a nasty hangover.

This is what my hangover sounds like.

Sounds painful. The snare, or whatever that is damn near tore out my eardrums. It's got some nice sounds going there, but it's kind of repetitive and a bit bland outside of the bass.

Thanks a lot man. Using mostly native Logic synths (ES2, EFM, EXS24) but the first sound is done in Zebra 2.

In progress. . .

@Mindcontrol I see where your going with that one. I would say the bass is a bit muddy though, try Eqing and compressing it (if you havent already). Try to cut out a bit of the frequency around the 200 Hz range(almost Sub bass), most muddiness I find comes from that Frequency range (180-230 Hz roughly). Also maybe add some percussion hits (rimshots, snares w/e) with a lot of reverb, kryptic minds has a lot of hits that like, but ya solid track I see the Kryptic Minds feel just keep going with it

and Thanks for Commenting the track! glad ya dig it!
If you wanna Subscribe to my channel ill have some new tracks up pretty soon heres a link

HA! I appreciate the honesty. How can I improve the snare? Is it just too loud? Or is the frequecy off?

I'll check out your tracks in a few hours when I'm dealing with my Sunday hangover.

It's a little bit of both actually. I'd roll off some of the high frequencies, just enough to take out ear piercing tones that are in it. Then drop the volume a bit. I usually try to keep my snares within the -8 to -10 db range myself.

Sounds like a hybrid of Burial & FlyLo!
All those ghost hit/incidental "clangs" are pretty sweetand the pad is great.
Not reaaally feeling the sample though. For the pace of the track, it's almost like the guy's voice is too boring or not expressive enough? needs contrast between the vocal and pace, almost

Soundcloud

Been up all night battling with this (then realised it had all been in mono for about 3 days. Argh.)
Needs some variation, but I'm still waiting for the spark of creativity.
Thinking of a nice vocal sample? Ideas/feedback greatly appreciated.

JemGrover - Nice track so far! Everything after the drop i fucking love, so don't change much to that. For the intro, the stabs sound slightly too harsh, whack some more reverb on there and a short delay or echo would probably help too. I was also expecting something more melodic over the top after the first vocal sample at 30, something like a heavily reverbed flute improvising over the top of the stabs would sound good. Atmospherics and pads sound fucking lovely though mate! Look forward to hearing the final product.

ibscotty - That kick is hard! First thing i'd say is work on the drum arrangement, get the hi-hats flickering about slightly more, especially that hat coming on the off beat, gets pretty repetitive. Also try not to keep the kick just on the 1st beat, mix it up and let it play about with the hats.

--------

First time i've ever properly tried doing a 'deep' track, so please go easy on me. Pretty happy with it so far, could do with a better mixdown as i'm on headphones right now.

Soundcloud

Also lacking variation, tried throwing in a few breaks to mix it up but it needs something else?

You were specifically told to give feedback to others before posting your tune here when you decided that *that* deserved it's own thread. Then you come here and just leave it up like that and expect "please sir i'm only 15" to be enough? and you posted ANOTHER thread just to put up your link in the main section of this site? Is there something actually wrong with you or are you a troll?

Cheers man, really appreciate the kind words. Mmm, been digging around for a possible horn sample, and sifitng through a stack of accapellas this evening.
Still waiting for a melody to hit me, but I feel it's going well.
Half asleep right now, but I WILL check out your track tomorrow :)
