or kryptic minds remixes?
if i remember correctly
Comes up in the Kryptic Minds Blackdown interview from way back, but who knows...

"L: Without a doubt. Me and Burial are bringing out a release remixing Si’s tracks and it should be in the shops in about four months."

S: Burial had the same kind of year, last year, as Loe. Kinda “where is this going…? What’s going on?” Burial had blow up but then was not productive within music. So I can see where he’s started things with people, promised people remixes and not done it because he wasn’t in that frame of mind. But when I told him I’d hooked up with Loefah he was completely buzzing. “You couldn’t have hooked up with a better person…” But I can see how he’s made promises but not done it because deep in his heart he’s a really nice guy, he wants to do a remix but his heart’s not in it.

L: Originally this 12” was going to be one side his remix the other side mine but now we’re going to do one side Loefah v Burial the other side Burial v Loefah."

Burial was their one of the first dudes they started talking to in the first place... Also words back around then a dBridge collab was another in the works.. Wouldn't count on anything solid other than that Commix remix for the meantime... LP should be good...

to produce such intense music, i think one needs to be in a state of mind which is kinda diverse from the usual. well, William is just a human being. maybe he is having a hard time dealing with this huge Burial identity which gets bigger and heavier because of its fans (like me). it must be hard. everybody needs couple of haters. he doesnt have that .

last time i saw kode9 in glasgow i asked him in passing about future burial releases and he said the massive attack remix album would be the first out. whether he was adding spin to the hype or being genuine, who knows?

in the years i've been listening to burial i've found the best way to get by is to appreciate the tunes you have and to never get worked up about what's MAYBE gonna come out and what rumours you've heard.

plus i'm sick to fuck of getting all mopey when i think i'll never have True Love VIP.

Reckon he was taking the piss...

"It’s been said that Burial might remix Heligoland as a companion album. Does that look lightly to happen?
G: “I think I might have had too many drinks the night I made that statement. I started a fire, didn’t I? It was our total admiration for Burial, that’s what it was; it sort of spilled into enthusiasm about him doing something for us.”

Its kind of depressing just listening to that 35 second clip.

Personally I don't think we'll hear much more of him for a while. He might even just fade away like those pirate radio stations and songs he loves.

wtf happened to dj kicks?

whens his massive attack remix album out?

the commix remix?

how fucking amazing is foster care?
Commix remix will be just after summer for SURE. It's part of a whole remix album featuring pangaea, a made up sound, dbridge, instra:mental and a fair few more. From what i've heard it should be worth the wait.
is this the one on exit? i think synkro is on it aswell, or maybe im thinkin of something else.
